One of their newest services is the Migrant Access Programme (MAP), which focuses on the empowerment of migrants by assisting them in overcoming cultural and personal barriers to enter the Irish labour market. The programme offers employment trainings, which include CV preparation, job application support, and basic IT and English lessons for job seekers. Additionally, refugees learn about employment rights, skills-recognition and available services through public information sessions that are delivered nationwide. According to Angelisa Zerpa, Project Coordinator of the MAP programme, refugees gain a boost of confidence through the training, and benefit from realistic expectation management, and a clear career plan.  The project was demonstrated on NCP’s recent Migrant Information Day in collaboration with IOM Ireland.
